Race like a pro with the Asetek Forte S Series sim racing pedals
The Forte S Series sim racing pedals are the Forte pedals, as you know them – just separated (250-350mm).
These pedals are equipped with the advanced M.L.C.P.C. (Mechanical Load Cell Powered Cylinder) system, making your racing experience strikingly similar to driving an actual race car—minus the complexity of a full hydraulic setup.
Racers and sim enthusiasts have put the Forte S pedals through rigorous testing, providing feedback that has shaped their design and functionality.
As a result, these pedals are fine-tuned to mimic the dynamics of a real car’s pedals, offering you the tactile feedback and resistance that make all the difference in competitive racing.

Adjust your Asetek Forte S Series pedals to suit your rig
The Forte S Series pedals give you the flexibility to set the distance between the throttle and brake up to 100 mm apart.
This customisable feature allows you to tailor your sim racing rig exactly to your liking, even offering the possibility to mount the pedals inverted if that’s your style.
Plus, keeping things neat and tidy is a breeze with just a single cable for connectivity.
Paired with RaceHub software, the possibilities are nearly endless for crafting a unique and personalised sim racing setup.
This setup not only looks great but also helps you perform at your best every time you take the wheel.
Brake later. Get faster
Asetek Forte S Series pedals are well known for a hard—and authentic—brake pedal. This is on purpose.
A hard brake pedal lets you brake later, giving you a speed advantage.
Picture this scenario: you have a brake pedal that travels 50mm, fairly common among most sim racing pedal sets, versus one that has almost no travel at all.
Imagine you’re speeding at 300 km/h down a straight. With a longer travel brake, it might physically take you about 1/10 of a second longer to hit full braking power.
With a stiff brake pedal, you’ll achieve maximum braking power almost instantly.
Now, if your track has three hard braking zones, switching to a hard brake with minimal travel could shave off 3/10 of a second on each lap.
That might just be the edge you need to lead the pack.
Advanced M.L.C.P.C. brake system
Most mechanical sim racing pedals out there offer what you might call 'unlimited' travel.
This means the distance the pedal can travel depends largely on how hard you press against the elastomer.
Unfortunately, this often leads to overworking the elastomer beyond its intended use, resulting in a spongy, inconsistent brake feel and, ultimately, a broken elastomer.
Moreover, this kind of setup means you have to start braking earlier to build up the necessary pressure, costing you precious milliseconds every lap.
That's a no-go if you’re serious about your lap times. That’s where the functionality of the M.L.C.P.C system in the Forte S Series pedals stands out.
It mimics real race car brakes with its two-stage mechanism: the soft stage and the hard stage.
The soft stage
In a real race car, pressing the brake pedal initiates a movement of about 10-20 mm.
This motion involves the calipers pushing the brake pads against the brake discs and compensating for any play in the pedal system’s mechanical parts.
In the Forte S pedals, Asetek has replicated this with a mechanical stop in the M.L.C.P.C. system.
You can tweak the softness by swapping out elastomers, but Asetek limits the travel to about 15-25 mm on the pedal plate, closely mirroring the authentic race car feel.
The hard stage
In real-world racing, once hydraulic pressure builds up, braking feels incredibly firm—like pressing against a wall—because the hydraulic fluid in the brakes can’t be compressed.
If a driver mentions a pedal feels “long” or “soft,” it usually means there’s air in the system, which can be compressed, leading to a softer pedal until the air is bled out and only fluid remains.
The M.L.C.P.C. system captures this 'hard stage' by using a rubber damper to simulate the sensation of a fully engaged brake caliper.
This setup still allows the load cell sensor to capture additional pedal pressure, enabling perfect trail braking.
This dual-stage approach ensures you get a realistic, race-quality braking experience right from your pedals.
Brake exactly how you want to with Forte S Series pedals
Here's something cool for you: the Asetek Forte S load cell sensor is designed with a specific gearing, which basically means there's a particular ratio between the pressure you apply and how the sensor responds.
No matter if you're using the softest or the hardest elastomer, you'll get an incredibly precise load cell resolution—about 4,000 points across just 12mm of movement in the M.L.C.P.C cylinder from the pedal's resting position to the engaged second stage.
To put that into perspective, that’s a resolution finer than 1/5th of a human hair!
And the best part?
You can tweak it to your heart’s content.
Asetek has made everything adjustable so that you can dial in the exact braking feel you prefer, almost like tuning your car to feel just right.
Plus, with RaceHub software, you can even set up a dead zone on the brake pedal.
This means you can rest your foot on the pedal without accidentally sending inputs to the game. It’s all about making your racing experience as comfortable and personalised as possible.
